From 1985 to 1991 lawyer in a leading business law firm.
Since 1991 judge at the Hamburg District Court.

Training as facilitator and moderator with Metaplan®.

Various mediation trainings in Europe and in the United States, for Example with Gary Himmelstein/Jack Friedmann, The Center for mediation in law, now Center for Understanding Conflict; Jutta Lack-Strecker; Ken Cloke, Center For Dispute Resolution; former HNII-Program on Negotiation, Harvard law school (today GNII).

Many years of professional experience in working with various elements of mediation and facilitation.

Member of the mediation model project at the Hamburg District Court.

Since 2002 lecturer on arbitration, mediation and extrajudicial forms of dispute resolution, active work in European and international projects on mediation, such as GEMME, and European civil procedure law.

Languages: Fluent in German and English, good French and basic Spanish knowledge; I also provide simultaneous translations from Russian into German and English.
